YOUTH VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Benefits include:

· free 30 minute airplane orientation flight

· free swimming at the Flying W Airport from 3:00pm-5:00pm M-Fr. during camp.

Requirements are:

· Must be 14 years or older

· Must enjoy working with youth

· Must volunteer for the whole week

· Demonstrate mature like counselor behavior and be able to have fun!

The aerospace camp is an opportunity for any boy or girl to gain extensive knowledge and experience in the field of aerospace. The camp runs from July 22-26 and July 29-August 2. The camp is held at the Flying W Airport in Medford from 9:00am-3:00pm. YOU MUST VOLUNTEER FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK. This is for the benefit of you as well as the students attending.

Camp activities include building & launching rockets as well as building and flying airplanes. The Young Eagles also conduct free orientation flight from 10:00am-12:00pm on the Friday of each week. You will be able to experience a ½ hour orientation flight. You must complete and return a form signed by your parents if you want to experience a flight.
